Coming to Kenya

Kenya is a very high-contrast country, shaped by it's size and diverse nature, embedded between the Indian Ocean on the East coast and the lake Victoria in the west.

Here we find Mount Kenya and in Tanzania the Kilimanjaro. The temperatures hardly change at the equator. The so-called winter (May until September) still offers 25° to 30° centigrade with some rain.

At a time when the sweater is taken out the wardrobe in Europe, it is summer in Kenya (September until April) with approximately 30° to 35° centigrade. The winter months with their super climate are the best to travel.

Mombasa and Diani Beach

After approximately an 8 hour flight from Europe and a last look on Mount Kenya and Kilimanjaro the Jumbo comes into land in Mombasa. The second largest city after Nairobi is a blend of different religions and cultures. Muslims, Christians and Africans live together peacefully.

From the airport it takes us approximately one hour by car to Diani Beach. (click here for information about an Airport Pickup.) After we have crossed by ferry from the island of Mombasa to the south coast. Already this trip is a lasting experience, during which you have the first opportunity to study the people of the country.
